Thank you for your interest in getting involved with Conestoga PTO! Our CPTO is powered by parents, guardians, caregivers, and staff who volunteer their time and talents to support our students, teachers, and school community.
We currently have opportunities to get involved in the following roles:
The VP of Fundraising serves on the CPTO Executive Board and helps oversee and coordinate CPTO's fundraising efforts throughout the school year. This is a great role for someone who enjoys connecting with the community, organizing projects, and helping turn ideas into opportunities for our school.
Responsibilities may include:
Helping develop and coordinate CPTO's annual fundraising plan
Overseeing fundraising programs and supporting individual fundraising committee chairs
Working with the CPTO President and Treasurer to establish fundraising goals and track progress
Helping identify new fundraising opportunities and community partnerships
Supporting sponsorship and donation outreach
Serving as a resource for Dining for Dollars and other fundraising initiatives
Providing fundraising updates at CPTO meetings
Helping ensure fundraisers follow school, district, and CPTO guidelines
Working collaboratively with the CPTO Board, school administration, and volunteers
You don't need previous PTO or fundraising experience! We're looking for someone who is organized, collaborative, willing to communicate, and excited to help support Conestoga.
Love books, organizing, or volunteering at school? We're looking for a Book Fair Co-Chair to help plan and coordinate Conestoga's Book Fair alongside our current Book Fair Chair.
Having a co-chair allows the work to be shared and is also a great way to learn the role for future years.
Responsibilities may include:
Working with the Book Fair Chair, school librarian, and Book Fair vendor to coordinate the event
Helping plan the Book Fair schedule and important deadlines
Coordinating volunteer needs and helping recruit volunteers
Assisting with setup, organization, and cleanup
Helping communicate Book Fair information to families
Supporting sales and operations during the Book Fair
Working with CPTO and school staff to troubleshoot needs as they arise
Helping document important information and recommendations for future Book Fairs
No previous Book Fair experience is necessary. We'll provide previous information, resources, and support to help you get started.
We'd love to hear from you! If you're interested in either position or would simply like to learn more before committing, please reach out to CPTO.
Getting involved is a wonderful way to meet other Conestoga families, get connected to the school, and make a meaningful impact on our Cougar community.
Thank you for considering volunteering with Conestoga CPTO!
